Typeblaster is the most fun and effective method to improve your typing. It is a spaceship game in 3D, in which your enemies are words that appear on-screen, and you have to type them as quick as you can to delete them and speed up. This way the game makes you look at the screen constantly, and not at the keyboard while you type. Typeblaster has options to play for 1, 3, or 5 minutes, or sessions without time limit. In addition to the game's own markers, Typeblaster also offers information in real time on the words per minute you type.
